Since 1971, Meals on Wheels of Lehigh County has been providing nutritionally balanced, home-delivered lunch and evening meals to homebound residents of Lehigh County who are unable to prepare nutritious meals because of advanced age, disability or illness. Meals are delivered Monday through Friday at lunchtime. For some clients, frozen weekend meals are also provided. The meals are delivered to the client’s door by well-trained volunteers—who are often the only people our clients see on a daily basis.
