At its Annual Meeting, Meals on Wheels Board Members presented the Agency's Community Partnership Award to Subway Development of Eastern Pennsylvania. Subway promotes Dorney Park admission tickets in its many stores throughout the area. For every coupon redeemed, Subway receives money from Dorney Park. It then donates the money to a nonprofit. Since 2003, Meals on Wheels has benefitted from this program, receiving $40,677 which has fully funded 7,396 meals! Fulton Brown accepted the award on behalf of Subway.
Seven members were elected at today's meeting. They are: Kelly Blanar, Financial Risk Analyst at Air Products & Chemicals, Inc.; Matthew Ebert, District Manager at Wells Fargo Bank; Jamie Koch, Registered Dietician; Lisa M. Oldt, Controller at the Pidcock Company; Joy Buckley Reed, Human Resources Business Partner at LSI; Michael A. Santanasto, Attorney; and Robert Sharpe, Attorney. They replace three outgoing Board Members: Andrew Budick, Action Rental; Wally Meyers, Celebrity Cleaning; and Anne Wolfe, Air Products & Chemicals Inc.
2012 Officers were also elected. They are: Joseph Fenstermacher, Financial Advisor at Questar Capital, President; Alison A. Huddleston, Client Manager at Highmark Blue Shield, Vice President; Byron Bachman, VP of Operations, Celebrity Cleaning, Secretary; and James Faylor, CPA at Lang, Faylor and Chomo, Treasurer.
